MRS. MARY CAROLYN OWENS KINCHEN, age 83, of Milan, GA, died Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, September 6, at Antioch #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Lee and Rev. Wayne Cobb officiating, with interment in Antioch #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Mrs. Kinchen was born in Fitzgerald, a member of Antioch #2 Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She was a former employee of the Milan Coat Factory, Goody Manufacturing, and Stuckey’s Inc. Carolyn lived several places over the years and during her time in Macon she was a member and Sunday school teacher at Macedonia Baptist Church and also at Siloam Baptist Church in Telfair County. During her time at Greenlawn Baptist Church in Eastman she was a dedicated member, Sunday school teacher and a disaster relief worker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baby sitting and Southern Gospel music. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Carolyn was the daughter of the late Thelma Dixon Laudermilk and Marcus Thomas Owens. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Kenneth E. Kinchen and 3 Son-in-laws, Steven Bridgers, Sr., Tommy Neumans, and Tommy Yawn.

 Survivors: 4 Daughters – Margie K. Bridgers of Cochran, Sherry K. Yawn of Rhine, Cathy K. Neumans of Dexter, and Tammy K. Allen of Milan; 12 Grandchildren – Stephanie Bohannon (Chad), Steven Bridgers, Jr. (Melissa), Shelley Darden (Roy), Daniel Yawn, Mandy Yawn, Jason Rogers (Amanda), Grant Rogers, Brandy Neumans (Barry White), Danika Howard (Matt), David Allen, Jr., T.J. Neumans (Jennifer), and Donnie Kenneth Allen; 17 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters – Linda Floye of Daytona, FL and Brenda Gephart (Howard) of Ellijay; 3 Brothers – Larry Owens (Joice) of Shenandoah, VA, Hoyt Owens (Mary) of Matthews, NC, and Allen Laudermilk of Social Circle; Sister-in-Law – Mary Ann Cobb (Wayne) of Milan; Brother-in-law – Joe Charles Kinchen (Glenda) of Milan; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

 The family may be contacted at the Kinchen residence, 504 Antioch South Road, Milan, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, September 5. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Antioch #2 Baptist Church, Antioch South Road, Milan, GA 30160.
