MRS. CAROLYN HUFF BROWN, age 73, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Dodge County Hospital in Eastman.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, May 5, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Myron Parkerson officiating, with interment in Giddens Harrell Cemetery.

 Mrs. Brown was born and raised in Dodge County and of the Primitive Baptist faith. She was a 1966 graduate of Dodge County High School where she played basketball and remained an avid fan throughout her life. After school, she went to work at Robins Air Force Base in data processing. After a few years she continued her career at Stuckey’s Candy Company, where she worked for over 10 years. After Stuckey’s closed, she worked at Wayfara Inc. as a bookkeeper for several years. She retired years later with H. Frank Erwin, CPA. Carolyn was a dedicated wife of 54 years and a loving mother and grandmother. She loved camping and being outdoors, spending time with her husband and family. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and bookkeeping. Carolyn was the daughter of the late Bobby Huff and was preceded in death by her Brother, David Lynn Huff and a Niece, Autumn Lynn Huff.

 She is survived by her Husband of 54 years – Deron Brown of Eastman; 2 Daughters – Katrina Eron Brown (Mike Garcia) of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and Melissa Ann Bouchea (Jason) of Savannah; 2 Grandchildren – Zack Bouchea and Maggie Bouchea of Savannah; Mother – Thelma Whigham Huff of Eastman; Sister – Gail Tarpley (Glynn) of Eastman; 2 Brothers – Don Huff (Annette) of Eastman and Chris Huff (Sandy) of Greenville, SC; Sister-in law – Hilda Hickman of Eastman; Nieces and Nephews – Debbie Huff, Robbie Huff, Angel Sapp (Hank), all of Eastman, Kelby Tarpley of Atlanta, Clint English (Melissa) of Cochran, Ryan Wilson of McRae, Matthew Huff, Michael Huff, and Nathan Huff, all of Greenville, SC; and her Faithful Canine Companion – Shep.

 The family may be contacted at the Brown residence, 1693 Chester Hwy., Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 10:00AM-11:00AM Thursday, May 5. In addition to flowers, contributions can be made to Friends of Perry Animal Shelter, 204 Kellwood Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
