Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM Friday, December 1, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating.
Carl was born in Fort Wayne, IN, a member of Eastman First Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a retired sheet metal specialist for General Electric. He was the son of the late Mary Ellen Whalen Koop and Clarence C. Koop.
He is survived by his Wife – Patsy Shively Koop of Eastman, GA; Daughters – Dawn Harper (Bryan) of Panora, IA and Cris Grauberger (Brian) of Eastman, GA; Sons – Richard Koop of Garden City, KS and Robert Koop (Jill) of Inman, KS; 9 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; 18 Adopted Grandchildren.
The family has requested the omittance of flowers and would prefer contributions to the Eastman Christian Life Center, 307 King St, Eastman, GA 31023, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
