MR. C.B. BRANCH, JR., age 76, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA.

MR. C.B. BRANCH, JR., age 76, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA.

 A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

 C.B. was born and raised in the Gresston community of Dodge County. He was a graduate of Dodge County High School and later joined the U.S. Navy where he served as a boilerman. When he returned home from service, he worked in construction for many years and specialized as a mason, working in brick and block on many projects during his career. He was also owner and operator of Hilltop Store for over ten years. C.B. was a dedicated and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, fishing, playing lottery games, watching sports on TV, and spending time with his family. He was the son of the late Pearl Howell Branch and C.B. Branch, Sr., and was preceded in death by his Wife of 40 years, Pearl Wright Branch, and Sister, Helon Branch Dykes.

 He is survived by his Wife of 6 years – Ann Ennis Branch of Eastman, GA; Step-Son – Tony Pearce of Eastman, GA; Step-Daughter – Gail Burnam (Don) of Eastman, GA; Grandchildren – Angela Williamson, Robie Williamson, Jr., Daniel Williamson, Sonya Peacock, Blake Pearce, Brandon Pearce, Don Burnam, Jr., Kristen Stewart, Tiffany Price, Adrianna Sanford, Brad Burnam, Brooke Villegas, and Denise Atkinson; Numerous Great-Grandchildren; Brother – George Branch (Wanda) of Eastman, GA; Brother-in-law – Alf Dykes (Linda) of Cochran, GA; Sisters-in-law - Nancy Hash (Vic) and Sarah Benson, both of South Carolina; Niece – Dinone Rogers; Nephews - Chad Branch and Tracy Dykes.
