MR. BRYCE MULLIS, age 87, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his residence.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, October 9, at New Union Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Grenade and Rev. Trey Benton officiating.

 Mr. Mullis was born in Dodge County, a member of New Union Baptist Church, and a 1950 graduate of Eastman High School. He was a retired salesman, working in sales for over 46 years. After high school he went to work for Piggly Wiggly, working as a butcher with his brother, Fulton. He later owned and operated his own business, Mullis Meat Market for several years. He managed several Stuckey’s stores through the years, working and living in Carnesville, GA, Winslow, AZ, and Carlsbad, NM. He also was a store manager and partner for Wayfara in Lavonia, GA for several years. He was a longtime salesman for Dixie Souvenirs up until his retirement. After retiring he worked part-time with Moore’s Mortuary Transport in Douglas, GA. Mr. Mullis enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a family man, a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Bryce was son of the late William Henry Mullis and Odie Estelle Parkerson Mullis and was preceded in death by 9 Siblings, Mildred Stuckey, Fulton Mullis, Felder Mullis, F.T. Mullis, Donald Mullis, James H. Mullis, Gilbert Mullis, Doyce Mullis Sr., and Parker Nue Mullis.

 He is survived by his Wife of 68 years – Frances Saunders Mullis of Eastman; 2 Daughters – Joanne Kirkley (Kelvin) and Sheila Deloach (Donnie), both of Eastman; 11 Grandchildren – Stacey Yancey (Kevin), Rodney King (Katrina), Shelly Butler (Justin), Ethan Graham (Payton), Donnie Deloach Jr. (Maegan), Melissa Funk (Keith), Donna Deloach, Ashley Deloach, Katie Deloach, Sonja Hamilton (Brian), and Mandy Singletary (Brad); 23 Great-Grandchildren – Courtney Dennis (Ethan), Deanna Yancey, Wyatt King, Dawson Butler, Bryson Butler, Jameson Butler, Donnie Deloach III, Ashlynn Deloach, Jace Deloach, Jacob Deloach, Brandon Funk, Brody Funk, Jayden Winston, Violet Deloach, Dylan Hall, Jay Hamilton, Luke Hamilton, Caleb Singletary, Jake Singletary, Grace Singletary, Ryan Wright, Gracie Wright, and Megan Wright; Brother – J.D. Mullis of Eastman; 3 Sister-in-law – Nita Mullis, Doretha Mullis and Faye Grenade; Brother-in-law – Paul Saunders (Polly); Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

 Mr. Mullis will lie-in-state in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 11:00AM-4:00PM Thursday, October 8. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Parkinson’s Foundation, www.parkinson.org, or to New Union Baptist Church, P.O. Box 4335, Eastman, GA 31023.
