MRS. BRIDGET SMITH BARLOW, age 55, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA.

 A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, June 20, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Eddie Barlow officiating.

 Bridget was born in Alma, GA on May 1, 1971, and was of the Christian Faith. She attended Bacon County High School and later moved to Eastman in the 1990s, where she worked at Golden’s Personal Care Home for several years. She was later employed at Bank of Eastman as a teller, customer service representative, and even an internet technology representative for many years. 

Bridget was a dedicated wife of 30 years and a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, who loved children, all kinds of animals and would rescue any that needed help. She enjoyed going fishing and boat riding with her husband and family and made many memories together on their trips back and forth to Brunswick. She was a family protector and will be missed and loved forever by all those who knew her. 

Bridget was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Smith, Sr., stepfather, Lamar Sanders, brother, Lewis “Ricky” Smith, nephew, Timothy “Tim” Smith, and father-in-law, Gerald Barlow. 

 She is survived by her Husband of 30 years – Tony Barlow of Danville; Daughters – Amber Hanson (Sergio Cruz) of Cochran and Tiffany Hason (D.J. Dailey) of Abbeville; Son – Michael Barlow, Jr. (Cheyanne Giddens) of Danville; Grandchildren – Paisley Barlow, Onna Reynolds, Symone Parker, Marianna Cruz, Sophia Cruz, Liam Cruz, and Allissah Howell; Mother – Rita Thomas Sanders of Eastman; Sisters – LaRita Holder (Douglas) of Eastman and Ginny Bentley (Paul) of Hawkinsville; Mother-in-law – Sharon Barlow of Eastman; Sister-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Della Bizzell-Smith, Jimmy Barlow, both of Eastman, and Jayson Barlow (Jenny) of Vicksburg, MS; Aunts and Uncles – Barbara Grantham, LaWanda Boatwright (Van), Lynette Spell, Annette Thomas, and Audrey Thomas; Best Friend – Julianne Jewell; Several nieces and nephews; Faithful canine companion – Roxy.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Rita Sanders, 514 11th Avenue, Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:30PM-2:00PM Saturday, June 20. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation, 235 Mac Thompson Rd., Cochran, GA 31014, in honor of Bridget and her love for animals.
