MR. BRIAN JACKSON MULLIS, age 56, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at his residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, September 21, at Southerland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Orphans Cemetery.

 Brian was born in Dublin, GA and attended Gresston Baptist Church during his early years. He was a 1984 graduate of Dodge County High School, earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Mercer University and his master’s degree in logistics from Georgia College and State University. He was an Avionics Section Chief at Robins Air Force Base, where he worked for over 12 years. Previously, he was a 16-year State of Georgia employee. Brian attended Antioch #2 Baptist Church in Milan, GA. He was actively involved in church activities, where he taught the Pairs and Spares Sunday School class and worked with the children and youth programs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sporting clays, and was an avid football fan of both the Georgia Bulldogs and the Dodge County Indians. He enjoyed trips to the north Georgia mountains and loved riding his motorcycle. Brian was a devout Christian and a true family man who loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his Son, Wesley Jackson “Wes” Mullis, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Inez and Curtis Jones, and Brother-in-law, Curt Jones.

 He is survived by his Wife – Debbie Jones Mullis of Eastman; Daughter – Kristen S. Jones (Chad) of Eastman; Son – Cullen Sheffield (Lauren) of Eastman; 4 Grandchildren – Karson Jones, Olivia Jones, Addison Jones, and Chanleigh Sheffield; Mother and Father – Doris Smith Mullis and Larry Jackson Mullis, both of Eastman; Sister – Melissa Roberson (Rogie) of Dudley; Brother – Brad Mullis (Michelle) of Hahira; Sister-in-law – Elaine Bryant (Tracey) of Danville; Brother-in-law – Danny Jones (Kathy White) of Milan; Several Nieces and Nephews; Numerous Cousins and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Larry and Doris Mullis, 160 Highland Cove Drive, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 10:00AM-11:00AM Wednesday, September 21. In addition to flowers, contributions may be made to Antioch #2 Baptist Church, P.O. Box 64, Milan, GA 31060 or the Gideons International Bible Fund.
