MRS. BRENDA FAYE PARKER YAWN, age 66, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, February 19, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dahl McDermitt, Jr. and Rev. Fred Parker officiating, with interment in Antioch #1 Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Greg Cook officiating.

 Brenda was born in McRae, a member of Antioch #1 Baptist Church, and a retired employee of Lithonia Lighting Company for over 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was an avid gardener, enjoyed the outdoors, and loved fishing, cooking, church activities, and taking care of her family. She was daughter of the late Sarah Vaughn Parker and William Albert Parker, widow of Warren Max Yawn, and was preceded in death by 6 Siblings, Dorothy P. Floyd, Peggy P. Wyatt, Annette P. White, Cecil Parker, Carl Parker, and Jerry L. Parker.

 Survivors: 4 Daughters – Denise Seay (Derek) of Lizella, Sarah Schmitz, Kim Floyd (Jay), and Angela Batts all of Eastman; 2 Sons – Mark Brown (Tonya) and Scott Gurien both of Eastman; 14 Grandchildren – Jacob Gurien, Nathan Gurien, Crystal Graham, Hunter Graham, Wendy Schmitz Johnson, Jennifer Schmitz, Taylor White, Ryan Clark, Chelsey Clark Ledford, Caleb Brown, Sarah Grace Brown, Katie Batts, Jackson Batts, and Mary Hess; 8 Great-Grandchildren; Brother – Phil Parker (Ilene) of Eastman; Very Special Friend – Linda Brewer of Valdosta; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at residence of Mark and Tonya Brown, 3239 Cochran Hwy., Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Monday, February 18. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to Dubois Baptist Church, 697 GA Hwy. 87 South, Cochran, GA 31014.
