MRS. BRENDA DOUGLAS DIAMOND, age 71, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Dodge County Hospital.

 Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Southerland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Daniel Cook officiating, with interment in Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins, GA.

 Brenda was born in Eastman, GA, and a member of First Baptist Church of Cochran. She previously attended Bethel Baptist as a child and later Grace Baptist. She was a 1969 graduate of Dodge County High School and later worked in the Co-Op with RAFB where she earned an electronics degree. She worked as a civil service employee in the electronics department on F-15 aircraft at Robins Air Force Base for over 25 years. She lived in Baltimore, MD for a couple of years before returning to Georgia in the late 1980s. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and great-great aunt. Her pride and joy was her grandson, Liam who she spoiled and loved dearly. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and loved to play bingo. She was a member of the CocRobin Cloggers. She enjoyed family vacations, trips to Biloxi and Las Vegas, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her Husband, Patrick “Pat” Diamond, Father, Inman F. Douglas, Niece, Kim Mullis, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Howard and Johanna Diamond and a Brother-in-law, Wendell L. McCranie.

She is survived by her Daughter – Heather Diamond (Sal Naja) of Marietta; Grandson – Liam Naja of Marietta; Mother – Lorine Aligood Douglas of Eastman; 2 Sisters – Gerry D. McCranie (John Phillips) and Elizabeth D. Brown, both of Eastman; 4 Nieces and Nephews – Pam L. McCranie of Eastman, Wendell “Keith” McCranie (Ginger) of Perry, Carmen L. McCranie of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Stan Mullis of Eastman; 7 Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews – Cory Mullis (James Crawford) of Tampa, FL, Cody Mullis of Eastman, Marli Cay McCranie of Columbia, SC, Stan Mullis, Jr., Hugh Mullis, and Evan Mullis, all of Eastman; Great-Great Nephew – Maddox Mullis of Eastman; Her Very Best Friend of 48 years – Leanna Noah of Cochran.

 The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 10:30AM-11:00AM Saturday, November 5.
