MRS. BOBBIE JOYCE TAYLOR BROADNAX, age 83, of Fort Valley, GA, died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Warner Robins Healthcare and Rehab in Warner Robins, GA.

 Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, November 15, at Parkerson Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Lewis Harrell officiating.

 Mrs. Bobbie was a native of Eastman, of the Baptist Faith, and a homemaker. She worked as a seamstress for many years at Jamieson’s in Albany and worked for several years in the 1980s packing peaches for Miami Valley Fruit Farm in Fort Valley. Bobbie was a dedicated wife for over 61 years, a loving mother and grandmother to her family, and enjoyed tending her flowers, fishing, reading, and spending time with her family. She was the daughter of the late Hattie Rozar Taylor and George Clarence Taylor, widow of Leamon Broadnax, and was preceded in death by a Daughter, Mary Susan Broadnax, and 4 Siblings, Margie Lester, George Edward Taylor, Robert Quinnon Taylor, and Barney L. Taylor.

 She is survived by 3 Sons – Derrell Broadnax (Evelyn Scott) of Ft. Valley, Eddie Broadnax (Mona) of Cobb, and Jerry Broadnax (Leslie) of Fort Valley; 5 Grandchildren – Jeremy Broadnax, Cody Hale (Heather), Michael Hale (Heather), Dusty Stafford (Terri), and Dillon Hale (Alixas); Several Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters – Johnnie Coleman of Clarksville, GA and Gloria Jean Sheffield of Chauncey; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 Mrs. Broadnax will lie-in-state from 1PM-3PM Friday, November 13 in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home.
