MR. JOSHUA AUSTIN COX, age 31, of Glenwood, GA died June, 12, 2020 in Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah.

 Austin was born in Perry, GA and lived in Dublin most of his life. He was a member of World Harvest Church and a graduate of Abeka Christian Academy. He was a master craftsman and enjoyed sharing his talents through his work with LifePIPES, his family business. Austin took pride in his work and handcrafted an essential oils diffuser which has been showcased the last 2 years in an international vendor event with Young Living Essential Oils hosted in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a certified gunsmith, avid fisherman, outdoorsman, woodworker, and enjoyed crafting metal and wood knives. His passion in life was his music. He played guitar, piano, trumpet, violin and drums and was an overall skilled musician. Austin is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Willa Ingram, paternal grandparents, Peggy Cox Long and Oscar Wells Cox, Jr. and his uncle, Hank Ingram.

He is survived by his Parents – Dr. Farris W. Cox and Tammy Ingram Cox, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Brother – Matthew Cox of Orlando, FL; Betrothed of 4 years – Caitlan Bracewell of Dublin, GA; Maternal Grandfather – Paul Ingram of Clintwood, VA; Paternal Grandfather – Farris Eugene Johnson of Cochran, GA; Nephew – Ethan Cox of Orlando; 2 Nieces – Bella Cox and Willa Cox, both of Orlando; Numerous cousins including Micah Ingram Cagnassola (Mark) and Hank Cagnassola, both of Jacksonville, FL and Michael Tatum (Lori) of Huntsville, AL.

A celebration of Austin’s life will be held at a later date to be determined by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to World Harvest Church, 1671 Fort Palmetto Circle, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466.  All contributions will be given in Austin’s honor to a charity to be determined.
