MRS. ANNIE MAE PEACOCK WILLIAMS, age 84, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at her residence in Eastman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Ralph Smith and Rev. Ricky Anderson officiating, with interment in Lovely Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Annie was born in Chauncey, GA on November 16, 1940, to the late Willie Mae Peacock and Enis Peacock. She was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Eastman Bible Baptist Church, and a former seamstress for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Franklin Douglas “Duck” Williams, daughter, Linda Pittman and 3 brothers.
She is survived by her Daughters – Bobbi Sheffield (Ben) of Woodstock, GA and Robin Hohman (Chris) of Eastman, GA; Son – Elton Williams of Eastman, GA; Son-in-law – Tim Pittman of Eastman, GA; Grandchildren – Tommie Martin (Patrick), James Robert Land, Douglas Pittman (Kimberly), Rev. Matthew Pittman (Skye), Caleb Sheffield (Courtney), Joey Fuller (Racheal), Jennifer McDowell, Lacie Winters (Woodrow), and Paul Williams; 24 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters – Mary Jane Purvis, Lois Blankenship (Gene), both of McRae, GA, Virgie Mae Stanley of Chauncey, GA, Lillie Mae Mason of Dublin, GA, and Nellie Blankenship of Milan, GA; Several nieces and nephews.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Elton Williams, 388 Lovely Grove Church Rd., Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
