MRS. ANNETTE JOYCE PRUETT McLAUGHLIN, age 85, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, June 19, 2023, at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, June 23, at Giddens-Harrell Cemetery, with Rev. Al Acosta officiating.

 Mrs. McLaughlin was born in the Plainfield Community of Dodge County. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a graduate of Eastman High School. She was a homemaker and worked several jobs over the years including Goody’s Manufacturing in Eastman and Uniroyal in Dublin. Annette was a dedicated wife and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed working in her yards, and tending to her flowers. She was an avid animal lover who always took in dogs and cats. She loved spending time with her husband, Dannie, and their wonderful family. Annette was the daughter of the late Ruby Giddens Pruett and Oliver Pruett and was preceded in death by her Husband, Dannie McLaughlin, Jr., Stepson, Dannie McLaughlin, IV, Siblings, Sue Howell and Wayne Pruett, Daughter-in-law, LaWanna Hanson, and 2 Brothers-in-law, Pat Gray and Charles Howell.

 She is survived by her Sons – Joel Hanson (Dena) of Eastman, Kent Hanson (Robin) of Carlsbad, NM, and Kelly Hanson of Hobbs, NM; Step-Daughters – Mary Glisson of Eastman and Janet Moore of Dexter; Grandchildren – Dusty Hanson, Tiffanie Hanson Parker (Dewayne), Amber Cruz (Sergio), Tyler Hanson, Brooke McLaughlin, Skylar Dannie Lee McLaughlin-Moore, Tristen Moore, Klyda “Annie” Moore, and Joah Moore; Several Great-Grandchildren; Sister – Mary Lynn Gray of Eastman; Sisters-in-law – Syble Pruett of Chester and Lucy Jacobs of Ailey; Several Nieces and Nephews.

In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to Giddens-Harrell Cemetery Fund, % Terry Sowell, 260 Charlie Mullis Road, Eastman, GA 31023.
