MRS. ANNAL LEE VICKERY REECE, age 89, of Loganville, GA, died Thursday, December 22, 2022.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, December 28, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dave Pullen officiating, with interment in Yawn-Brown Cemetery in Chauncey.

 Mrs. Reece was born in Chauncey, GA and as a child she attended Sweet Home Baptist Church, but in her later life she was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Tallahassee, FL. She was a graduate of Chauncey High School and later married and moved with her husband to Macon, GA, where she worked at the Medical Center of Central Georgia as a manager for the Ronald McDonald Transition Team. After he husband Claude passed away, she later remarried to Mr. George Reece and relocated to West Virginia, where they lived for over 15 years. They later moved to Marietta, GA to be closer to her daughter. In the last few years, she lived with her sister Mae in Loganville. She was an accomplished artist, loved art, birds, flowers, Christian music, and the Gaithers. She was a dedicated Christian woman who always put others before herself. She was a life a mother to her sisters and brothers and helped raise many of them. Annal was the daughter of the late Leila Mae Vickery and Forest Gordon Vickery, and was preceded in death by her Husbands, Claude Brown and George Reece, Daughter, Claudette Beach, Infant Daughter, Jewel Brown, an Infant Son, Sister, Effie Wright, and 2 Brothers, James Gordon Vickery and John H. Vickery.

 She is survived by her Son – Johnny Brown (Tami) of Macon; Son-in-law – Clifford P. Beach, Jr. of Marietta; 2 Grandson – C. Andrew “Andy” Beach (Lisa Weisman) of Portland, OR and Michael “Mita” Dean Beach of Palm Springs, CA; 4 Great-Grandchildren – Noah Beach (Mary), Maya Beach, Josh Mercik, and Davy Beach; Step-Children – Alfred Reece, Elaine Reece (John Williams), Becky Epling (Randy), Laura Reece, all of West Virginia, and Nita Pullen (Dave) of Tallahassee, FL; 5 Sisters – Mae Mosley (Danny) of Loganville, Mennie Wright of Milan, Ruby Bowen of Swainsboro, Elizabeth Hendrix (Clifford) of Jeffersonville, and Audrey Wright of Eastman; 2 Brothers – Cleve Vickery (Willie Mae) of Monroe and Willis Vickery (Glenda) of Macon; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Wednesday, December 28. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1983 Mahan Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32308.
