MRS. ANGELA WHITTLE BUTLER, age 65, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Atrium Navicent Health in Macon.

MRS. ANGELA WHITTLE BUTLER, age 65, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Atrium Navicent Health in Macon.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, February 26, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Myron Parkerson officiating.

 Angela was born in Valdosta, GA in 1957. She was of the Baptist Faith, a 1975 graduate of Dodge County High School and later graduated from Georgia College and State University, with her bachelor of science degree in nursing, and from Georgia State University, with her master of science in nursing. She later worked as a nurse at several healthcare facilities over the years including University Hospital in Augusta, Dodge County Hospital, Fairview Park Hospital, Community Mental Health in Dublin and Eastman, Phoenix Center in Warner Robins, Rivers Edge in Macon, Quinton’s Place in Dublin, and was a former director of nursing at Middle Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman. Angela enjoyed arts and crafts, decorating her home, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was the daughter of Ludowika Kress Whittle and Fred Whittle and was preceded in death by her Brother, Rolland Whittle.

 She is survived by her Husband – Darrell Butler of Eastman; 2 Sons – Justin Butler (Shelly) of Ashburn and Jared Butler of Eastman; 3 Grandsons – Dawson Butler, Bryson Butler, and Jameson Butler; 2 Sisters – Peggy Stuckey (Luis) of Atlanta and Linda Hanke (Ralph) of Acworth; Brother – James Whittle (Amy) of Atlanta; Nieces and Nephews – Brad Stuckey of Atlanta, Zachary Whittle of Milledgeville, Lori Blount (Tom) of Hawkinsville, Michelle Butler Gray (Bodie) of Eastman, and Ricky Beck (Cynthia) of Warner Robins; Several Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews; Numerous Cousins and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the Butler residence, 6234 Laurel Lane, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Sunday, February 26.
