Amos Jocamo "Joc" Tiraboschi, 44, of Tifton, Georgia, passed away on October 18, 2026 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of profound love, laughter, and beautiful memories who's family loved him beyond words and will never be the same without him.
He was born January 14, 1982 in Ft. Gaines, Ga to Reita Rayburn McCoy and Thomas Tiraboschi. He was a resident of Tifton, Ga. and had formerly lived in Eastman and Macon Ga. He attended Dodge County High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Amos and Lucille Rayburn of Tifton, Ga., Jiosue and Ernestine Tiraboschi of Tifton, Ga. and his companion's daughter Madyson Woollett of Darrien, Ga.
Joc was a thoughtful, kind man with an extraordinarily big heart. He loved with all of his heart and was the most giving person imaginable; to Joc, no one was ever a stranger. He possessed a unique, vibrant energy that could light up any room, bringing smiles and leaving lasting impressions on everyone he met. Joc was proudly and unapologetically a "Mama's boy." He didn't care who knew it, loved his mama fiercely, and often said he would have it carved on his headstone one day.
The happiest day of Joc’s life was the day his son, Austyn, was born. He absolutely loved being a Dad and was incredibly proud of the man his son has become today. His family and friends were his world.
He worked incredibly hard throughout his life. A multi-talented and truly gifted craftsman, he explored many crafts, he was proud of his Captain's license, he was great at so many things. He loved working with his hands and had a rare vision; he could take a simple piece of wood or an object that others discarded as nothing and transform it into something beautiful. No matter the project, his work always turned out absolutely beautiful. When he wasn't creating or building, he found peace and wonder sitting by a bonfire with family or friends while looking up at the stars, and it gave him pure joy in making people laugh and comforting others.
He is survived by his beloved son, Austyn Tiraboschi (Cynthia) of Hollywood Florida, his mother, Reita McCoy (Ryan )of Rossville , Ga. ; his father Tommy Tiraboschi (Vickie )of Eastman, Ga. ; his brother, TJ Tiraboschi; his step sisters Crystal Martin, and Cari Wainio both of Macon, Ga., ; his companion; Suzie Woollett, and her children of Tifton, Ga.; as well as many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and a vast circle of friends who will miss his love , warmth, dedication, and laughter every single day.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Joc's beautiful spirit, share stories, and remember the immense joy he brought into our lives. Arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.
